How does Google Make Money?
Hello clickbank enthusiasts, today I was asked “how does Google make money?” which to me is weird because first: the word “make” should be “makes” since Google is assumed to be a singular word. Next, it is pretty obvious because every time you want to search something in the Internet, you use Google search bar. Of course Google makes money when you do that since you get results and somebody must be paying Google to do that for you. Right?
Anyways, I search this question myself on how does Google makes money and I was surprised at the results because there were almost 340 million listing pages which to me is very high which does not makes sense. Furthermore, when you think about it, that figure is confusing because nobody really cares about that question. Instead, people like you and me will be asking the reverse question like: “How to Earn Money Through Google” which is obvious because you have a bested interest in the answer.
For any CB followers who are curious anyways, I will explain to you “how does Google make money”.
Google is a free open resource that you can get from internet. If you start your computer and click the search engines like Google, Yahoo, Aol, etc you will notice a search bar appears and you can type the keywords that you are searching for. So if you use Google, they will recommend to you a list of pages which also include advertisement links that subscribed to them.
You will see it on the right side bar of the page called “Paid Sponsor”. Google is paid by the sponsor every time you click those ads and a portion of those goes to the webmaster (like me who owns the website) who published the ads.
So a CB follower also asked: how much does Google charge for a click?
The cost to advertisers for a click relies on a great deal of numbers called bidding system. When you advertised with Google, you will select a particular keyword that relates to your product. It’s like my website sells automotive scanners, then I would target the keywords “automotive scanners” or any words related to that keywords. Now here’s how Google makes the money: the more companies who have similar products that bid on that keyword, the higher they will pay to get top listing results.
Example: If the highest bid is $5 per click and you are willing to pay that, then it’s worth to you to pay that amount. A lot of this also depends on how much the product being sold costs and how it is presented. Any company will always bid the lowest cost as much as possible but to get the top 3 results, they will try to outbid any competition to dominate the business.
The price per click can fluctuate from a cent to a hundred dollars or more. Imagine that for highly popular keywords like weight loss or loans can cost a lot of money for a company to advertise with Google. Huh?
Another CB follower asked: Does Google has any production cost?
Basically, what Google does is to sell traffic to any website willing to pay for clicks and this is the basic foundation of their business. And these Google traffic only occurs when a computer is used. This means if you don’t have one, Google cannot sell you any traffic.
This also means there is no physical product or material being shipped to you but everything is only in your mind. Is it not that beautiful? Google has no production cost but for them to think way ahead on what you want is just plain smart. Right? But to tell you the truth, it’s not that all easy.
Because for them to make you keep coming back for best result every time you think of a keyword, that’s just plain genius! You know what that means? Research, research and research…This is why good brains are paid more in big bucks!
This is also why I like the Internet and CB because everyday, you are learning something new. You want to make money through Google? Try the link below and remember: You are always guaranteed to make money or your money back if you returned it within 60 days!
